Every model, from the standard S450 to the Mercedes-Maybach S650 will see a host of revisions and improvements.
The facelifted S-Class will come with revised engines, plusher interiors with updated technology, new designs for the front and rear bumpers, as well as updated headlights and tail lights.
The W222 Facelift will offer a three-spoke sports steering wheel, three new upholstery offerings, and an updated infotainment system with a single-piece glass display. These are great additions that should make the vehicle much more linear on the inside. The Three Spoke steering wheel on the AMG models is truly a nice touch.
The namenculture is revised as well. The new S450 gets a new 3.0-liter V6 that produces 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, while the S560 offers up a new 4.0-liter V8 with a stout 463 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The new V8 gets cylinder deactivation and a hot “V” layout that enables the turbo to be placed in the middle of the cylinder banks.
The AMG models have some refreshed mechanicals as well. The S65 AMG is continued with the 6.0-liter V12 that is currently offered, producing 621 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. The S63 replaces last year’s 5.5-liter V8 with the more powerful 4.0-liter V8. The S63’s 4.0-liter produces 603 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all wheels through a new nine-speed automatic and a revised Mercedes’ 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system. The S63 and S65 also receive upgraded brakes, new wheel designs, a new exhaust system, adaptive sport seats, and performance apps for the infotainment system.

“Our Concept A Sedan shows that the time of creases is over,” said Gorden Wagener, Daimler (parent of Mercedes) chief design officer.
“With its perfect proportions and a sensual treatment of surfaces with reduced lines, it is the next milestone of Sensual Purity and has the potential to introduce a new design era.” Interesting.
These images show what will likely be the replacement for the A-Class, CLA-Class, B-Class, GLA-Class, and likely even more models. These models and more are from Benz’s small car MFA2 architecture.

The “new” S-Class is more of a refresh versus a full redesign
From this picture we can see that the headlights are a new design. They feature 3 LED bars, versus the single LED strip that the current S-Class has. Additionally, we can see the top accent of the front bumper, which also looks different than the current design.
According to the Mercedes product road-map seen below, the company calls for a facelift for the current S-Class sometime in the middle of 2017. Additionally, the facelifted S-Class will have new interior amenities and assistance systems – those assistance systems should be related to semi-autonomous driving.
The facelifted S-Class will be shown at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show.
The 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe price will start at $157,995.
The GT-R is $24,600 more expensive than the 503-hp GT-S, and $44,600 more expensive the base GT Coupe. Weighing in at 3,428 pounds, the GT-R blazes from 0-60 mph in scant 3.5 seconds. The AMG seven-speed dual-clutch transmission channells power to the rear wheels. The GT-R’s coil-over suspension helps it handle and maintain a super stable ride. 1.5 degrees of rear axel steer aids handling to tighten the car’s lines around corners, and a new AMG Traction Control system offers nine driver-selectable input levels. Needless to say, this car is a beast!
